PCL ALVERNO NOW PERFORMING BCR/ABL TRANSLOCATION BY FISH

 

Beginning in April, PCL Alverno is performing the BCR/ABL Translocation by Fish test inhouse. Physicians ordering this test must include the Hematopathology Requisition with the specimen. For more information, see our Reference Manual or call us at 800-937-5521.

 

 

PCL ALVERNO'S CHICAGO PATIENT SERVICE CENTERS IS EXTENDING HOURS
BEGINNING ON APRIL 29, 2013

 

 

Our hours of operation will be extended at our St. Elizabeth Patient Service Center in Chicago effective April 29, 2013. Our new hours will be Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The center will close for lunch from 12:30 to 1 p.m.

 

NEW ALLERGENS ADDED TO THE TEST MENU!

 

Additional allergens have been added to our extensive menu of allergens using ImmunoCAP®, a third-generation, quantitative assay far superior to earlier RAST technology.  This methodology is useful in the diagnostic evaluation of patients with allergy–like symptoms and aids in the clinical diagnosis of IgE mediated allergic disorders.
